What is a MiniNote?

A compact sized laptop computer for students to use to enhance their learning experiences in the North Kansas City School District.

Who gets a MiniNote?
Every high school student in all four high schools of the North Kansas City School District.

Where can a MiniNote be used?
At school, at home, or anywhere else in the community that provides typical laptop accommodations.

What does a MiniNote cost a student?
Just like a school textbook, unless significant damage occurs because of obvious abuse or intentional neglect, the MiniNotes are provided at no cost to students or parents.

When will the MiniNotes be distributed?
Deployment of the devices at WHS will begin in mid-October and continue through mid-November.

What do I have to do to get a MiniNote?
Every student and a parent or legal guardian of every student must complete one of the upcoming orientation sessions in order to be issued a MiniNote. (listed below)
